A Lifelong Learner
I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in English at Florida International University and my Master’s in Business Administration at West Texas A&M.
My career in education started almost 20 years ago, and I’ve never looked back. I’m a lifelong learner, passionate about helping others and improving daily.
Mikkel Dixon enjoys traveling, among many other things
I spent time serving students and graduates in short-term vocational programs, along with Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Ph.D. programs primarily focused in allied health.
For most of my years in education, I worked in Executive Leadership, focusing on student success and helping employees thrive.

As Nelson Mandela said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” I believe that quality education can transform the way people think, feel, and live.
Education transforms lives, It can help propel an individual’s socioeconomic status regardless of race or background.
I believe in diversity and equity. Everyone deserves to be seen, given an opportunity to excel, feel alive, and provided equal opportunity.

Mikkel and his wife, Nikki
I love learning, spending time with family, working out, hiking, and listening to and creating content to help people improve.
I’m a huge fan of Disney, traveling, health and fitness, and trying foods from different nationalities across the world. I love life and all God has provided for me and my family.
I’ve been married to my college sweetheart for ten years, and we have a miniature Poodle with a big personality.
We’re both from the Caribbean – I’m from Jamaica, and my wife, Nikki, was born in Trinidad.
We both grew up in Miami and fell in love with San Francisco when we visited for our honeymoon. We are now elated to call California our home!
