I graduated from the San Jose, CA campus of NHI in 2011 and became a California Certified Massage Therapist shortly thereafter. While in the final months of school, I joined with several NHI classmates and formed the Silicon Valley Massage Therapy Group, a massage therapy center with a team of skilled, certified massage therapists who focus on creating real and positive change in our client’s body, mind and spirit. Our practice has grown to more than 10 therapists and more than 500 clients serving the entire Bay Area. We do sporting events, participate in continuing education classes and have grown to be a family.

Riya Suising, CMT| Owner of Silicon Valley Renewal

I completed my massage education at NHI so I could have a formal, professional, certified and licensed background in doing massage. After graduation I have continued working at some of these spas and clinics as well as started my own mobile massage business, Silicon Valley Body Renewal, which is still growing steadily through outstanding customer reviews. Besides working as a massage therapist, I am also serving as an officer with AMTA to improve the massage industry by preparing continuing education workshops for the thousands of AMTA massage therapists in California.

Continue Your Education at NHI

At NHI we offer CEUs for chiropractors & chiropractic assistants, nurses, acupuncturists, personal & athletic trainers, physical therapists & physical therapist assistants. Pursuing advanced massage education through NHI is a great choice for those looking for new tools to advance their careers and provide deeper, richer benefits to their clients or patients.

In addition to CEUs we also offer our 450-hour Advanced Neuromusuclar Therapy Program. These massage therapy classes are specifically for those who have already completed one or more massage therapy programs, and for NHI graduates of the Core 900-hour Massage Therapy Program. The five modules are comprised of massage therapist classes that focus on the Shoulder & Thoracic region, the Head & Neck combined with a Cadaver Lab, the Lumbar-Pelvic region, the Lower Extremities combined with a Cadaver Lab, and the Upper Extremities.

Our advanced massage therapy program will allow you to confidently evaluate and differentiate between myofascial pain and dysfunction as opposed to injury.  Advanced techniques allow you to increase the value you provide for your clients.
