NHI Redding Graduate Shila Jones has found entrepreneurial success with her private massage therapy practice, Body Recalibration Massage Therapy.
“Near the end of my senior segment at NHI, I made the decision with a fellow classmate to open our private practice Body Recalibration Massage Therapy. I have successfully retained clients over the last year and a half, earned multiple contracts with local businesses for massages, and continued education as a Bellanina Facelift Massage Practitioner. All of this was possible because of NHI, but especially the Redding, CA campus! The instructors at this location can make anyone successful.”
Shila’s decision to enroll at the NHI Redding campus wasn’t easy with her busy schedule, but she is grateful she took the plunge.
“When I made the decision to look into this amazing school in the spring of 2018, it changed my life forever. Hesitant at first because of my busy schedule as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant I wondered if I could work and go to school full time? The answer is YES! This school has a flexible schedule anyone can work with. So I went for it!”
Shila’s experiences at NHI helped her grow professionally and also gave her a sense of community during trying times in Northern California.
“Enduring the Carr fire together as a family & helping the community where we could showed the true heart of NHI, and setting up all of the open houses to raise money and support our first responders was an amazing experience.”
On top of owning and operating a thriving massage therapy business, Shila is also now able to help teach the next generation of Massage Therapists as an Externship site for NHI.
